
Nurse - Ortho/Neuro Unit

- Provide compassionate and patient-centered care to patients with orthopedic and neurological conditions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor and assess patient's physical and emotional status, and communicate any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare team members.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Educate patients and their families on self-care and disease management techniques.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Participate in continuous education and training to stay updated on best practices and advancements in orthopedic and neurological care.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during difficult times.
- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients by maintaining infection control and safety standards.
- Act as an advocate for patients and their families, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed.
- Prioritize and effectively manage patient care tasks to ensure efficient and timely delivery of services.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes and overall patient experience.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions with patients and their families.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment by actively participating in team meetings and offering support to colleagues.
Bls And Acls Certification.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution.
Current Rn License In The State Of Connecticut.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In An Ortho/Neuro Unit Or Related Field.
Strong Critical Thinking And Problem-Solving Skills, As Well As Excellent Communication And Teamwork Abilities.
