  1. Conduct regular audits and reviews of the microbiology laboratory information system to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or errors within the microbiology middleware application.
  3. Collaborate with the microbiology laboratory team to develop and implement new testing protocols and procedures.
  4. Provide training and support to laboratory staff on the proper use and maintenance of the microbiology middleware application.
  5. Monitor and analyze data to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes as needed.
  6. Stay up-to-date with advancements and updates in laboratory information systems and microbiology testing technology.
  7. Ensure the confidentiality and security of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  8. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all system changes, issues, and resolutions.
  9. Communicate effectively with other departments and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless integration of microbiology testing processes.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Microbiology Or Related Field: A Strong Foundation In Microbiology Principles Is Essential For This Role To Understand And Troubleshoot The Middleware Application.

  • Experience With Middleware Applications: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 2 Years Of Experience Working With Middleware Applications In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In Microbiology.

  • Knowledge Of Laboratory Processes And Workflows: Understanding The Laboratory Processes And Workflows Is Crucial For This Role To Effectively Configure, Maintain, And Optimize The Middleware Application.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills To Identify And Resolve Issues With The Middleware Application And Associated Systems.

  • Familiarity With Regulatory Requirements: Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements, Such As Clia And Cap, Is Necessary To Ensure Compliance And Adherence To Standards While Working With The Middleware Application.
