
MFM Perinatal Sonographer

- Conduct ultrasound examinations and provide high-quality images for high-risk pregnancies, following established protocols and guidelines
- Perform all necessary calculations and measurements to accurately assess fetal growth and development
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret ultrasound results and determine appropriate course of action for patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including ultrasound images and reports
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during ultrasound procedures, including providing emotional support and reassurance
- Stay current with advancements and changes in ultrasound technology and techniques in order to provide the best possible care for patients
- Educate patients and their families on ultrasound procedures and expected outcomes
- Follow infection control and safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Act as a patient advocate by addressing any concerns or questions and providing support throughout the ultrasound process
- Assist in the training and supervision of new sonographers and students, as needed
- Adhere to all HIPAA and patient confidentiality regulations and guidelines.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team And Effectively Communicate With Patients And Their Families.
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (Rdms) Certification In Obstetrics And Gynecology (Obgyn) And/Or Maternal-Fetal Medicine (Mfm).
Bachelor's Degree In Sonography Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Performing High-Risk Obstetrical Ultrasound Examinations, Including Fetal Echocardiography.
Familiarity With Current Technology And Equipment Used In Perinatal Ultrasound, Including 3D/4D Imaging And Doppler Ultrasound.
