  1. Serve as the primary host and facilitator for events, ceremonies, and programs organized by Yale New Haven Health System.
  2. Engage and entertain audiences of varying sizes and demographics through effective communication and improvisation skills.
  3. Create a welcoming and energetic atmosphere for all attendees, ensuring their comfort and enjoyment throughout the event.
  4. Collaborate with event organizers to develop a program and script that effectively promotes the organization's mission and values.
  5. Conduct thorough research and preparation for each event to ensure a seamless and professional performance.
  6. Act as a brand ambassador for Yale New Haven Health System, showcasing its values and commitment to exceptional healthcare.
  7. Connect with diverse stakeholders, including patients, employees, and community members, to build relationships and promote the organization's services.
  8. Manage event logistics, such as introductions, transitions, and timekeeping, to ensure a smooth flow of the program.

  10. Work closely with event staff and volunteers to coordinate and execute all aspects of the event.
  11. Serve as a positive and professional representative of the organization, adhering to its policies and guidelines at all times.
  12. Continuously seek feedback and make necessary improvements to enhance the audience's experience.
  13. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate innovative ideas to keep events fresh and engaging.
  14. Display a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion, ensuring all attendees feel represented and included.
  15. Attend team meetings and training sessions to collaborate and improve performance as a Master of Ceremonies for Yale New Haven Health System.

Job Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree In Communications, Journalism, Or A Related Field.

  • At Least 3 Years Of Experience In A Communications Or Marketing Role, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Strong Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Convey Complex Medical Information In A Clear And Concise Manner.

  • Familiarity With Digital Media Platforms And Experience In Creating And Managing Content On Social Media.

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare Industry Regulations And Hipaa Compliance.
