- Conduct laboratory tests and procedures accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain and operate laboratory equipment, ensuring proper functioning and calibration.
- Monitor and analyze test results, identifying any abnormalities or discrepancies.
- Prepare and handle samples, ensuring proper storage and labeling.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and procedures in the laboratory.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret and communicate results.
- Keep accurate records of all tests, procedures, and results.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in laboratory technology and procedures.
- Participate in quality control and assurance activities to ensure accuracy and precision.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment.
- Train and supervise junior staff members on laboratory procedures and protocols.
- Follow all HIPAA and patient confidentiality guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist with research projects and studies as needed.
- Act as a resource for colleagues and other healthcare professionals regarding laboratory procedures and technology.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Clinical Laboratory Setting.
Bachelor's Degree In Medical Laboratory Science Or Related Field.
Certification As A Medical Laboratory Scientist (Mls) Or Medical Technologist (Mt) From A Recognized Accrediting Agency.
Strong Knowledge Of Laboratory Equipment And Procedures, Including Proficiency In Performing Complex Laboratory Tests.
Ability To Work Independently And In A Team Environment, With Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills.
