
Inpatient Acute Care - Physical Therapist

- Provide high-quality and compassionate physical therapy services to patients in the Inpatient Acute Care department.
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' conditions and create individualized treatment plans.
- Utilize evidence-based techniques and modalities to help patients regain mobility and function.
- Monitor and track patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques to continue their progress at home.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient treatment and progress.
- Adhere to all departmental and hospital policies and procedures.
- Keep updated on the latest advancements and best practices in physical therapy.
- Participate in departmental meetings and training to improve skills and knowledge.
- Demonstrate a commitment to patient satisfaction and actively seek feedback to improve services.
- Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment for patients and staff.
- Comply with all legal and ethical standards of practice.
- Attend to any administrative tasks related to patient care and departmental operations.
- Demonstrate professionalism and a positive attitude towards colleagues, patients, and their families.
Doctor Of Physical Therapy (Dpt) Degree From An Accredited Program.
Valid Physical Therapy License In The State Of Connecticut.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In An Inpatient Acute Care Setting.
Strong Clinical And Critical Thinking Skills In Evaluation And Treatment Planning.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Collaborate With Interdisciplinary Team Members And Patients.
