
HVC Procedures APP

In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our mission of delivering the highest quality healthcare to our community. - Conduct cardiovascular procedures, such as catheterizations and angioplasties, in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
- Provide excellent patient care and ensure their comfort and safety before, during, and after procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to develop and implement patient treatment plans.
- Monitor patients' response to procedures and report any changes or concerns to the supervising physician.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation of procedures, patient assessments, and interventions.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Stay up-to-date with current trends and advancements in cardiovascular procedures and technology.
- Educate patients and their families about procedures, risks, and post-procedure care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist in developing and implementing best practices for the department.
- Comply with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
- Continuously evaluate and improve personal and professional skills through ongoing education and training opportunities.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team And Provide Compassionate Care To Patients And Their Families.
Master's Degree In Physician Assistant Studies From An Accredited Program.
Current Certification And Licensure As A Physician Assistant In The State Of Connecticut.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Physician Assistant In A Hospital Setting, With A Focus On Cardiovascular Procedures.
Knowledge And Experience In Performing Diagnostic And Interventional Procedures, Including But Not Limited To Cardiac Catheterization, Angioplasty, And Stenting.
