Welcome to Yale New Haven Health System! We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as an HVC Procedures APP. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our mission of delivering the highest quality healthcare to our community. We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference and has a strong background in cardiovascular procedures.   1. Conduct cardiovascular procedures, such as catheterizations and angioplasties, in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
  2. Provide excellent patient care and ensure their comfort and safety before, during, and after procedures.
  3. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to develop and implement patient treatment plans.
  4. Monitor patients' response to procedures and report any changes or concerns to the supervising physician.
  5. Maintain accurate and complete documentation of procedures, patient assessments, and interventions.
  6. Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
  7. Stay up-to-date with current trends and advancements in cardiovascular procedures and technology.
  8. Educate patients and their families about procedures, risks, and post-procedure care.
  9. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
  10. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist in developing and implementing best practices for the department.
  11. Comply with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
  12. Continuously evaluate and improve personal and professional skills through ongoing education and training opportunities.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team And Provide Compassionate Care To Patients And Their Families.

  • Master's Degree In Physician Assistant Studies From An Accredited Program.

  • Current Certification And Licensure As A Physician Assistant In The State Of Connecticut.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Physician Assistant In A Hospital Setting, With A Focus On Cardiovascular Procedures.

  • Knowledge And Experience In Performing Diagnostic And Interventional Procedures, Including But Not Limited To Cardiac Catheterization, Angioplasty, And Stenting.
