Job Qualifications

  • Active Rn License: The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Possess An Active, Unrestricted Rn License In The State Of Connecticut. This Ensures That They Have The Necessary Credentials To Provide Patient Care In A Home Health Setting.

  • Previous Home Health Experience: Home Health Nursing Requires A Unique Set Of Skills And Knowledge. Candidates With Previous Experience In Home Health Nursing Will Be Better Equipped To Handle The Challenges Of This Role.

  • Strong Communication Skills: As A Home Health Nurse, You Will Be Working Closely With Patients, Their Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Strong Communication Skills Are Essential For Building Trust, Providing Education, And Coordinating Care.

  • Ability To Work Independently: Home Health Nursing Often Involves Working Independently In Patients' Homes. The Ideal Candidate Should Be Comfortable Working Autonomously And Have Good Time Management And Organizational Skills.

  • Bls Certification: Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification Is Required For This Position. This Certification Ensures That The Candidate Is Trained In Cpr And Other Lifesaving Techniques, Which May Be Necessary In Emergency Situations While Providing Home Health Care.
