Responsibilities:

  1. Provide compassionate and high-quality patient care in a variety of clinical settings.
  2. Serve as a vital support to healthcare professionals, including nurses, physicians, and other medical staff.
  3. Assist with patient intake and triage, including taking vital signs, updating medical history, and documenting patient information.
  4. Prepare and maintain examination and treatment rooms, ensuring they are clean, stocked, and ready for patient use.
  5. Administer medications and perform routine procedures, such as taking blood or collecting samples, under the direction of healthcare professionals.
  6. Communicate effectively with patients, ensuring their needs are met and questions are answered.
  7. Maintain accurate and organized patient records, including updating electronic health records and documenting patient care.
  8. Follow all safety protocols and maintain infection control standards.
  9. Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with medical procedures and best practices.
  10. Collaborate with other medical assistants and healthcare professionals to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
  11. Demonstrate a strong work ethic and dedication to providing exceptional patient care.
  12. Adhere to all privacy and confidentiality policies and regulations.
  13. Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and answering phone calls.
  14. Maintain a positive and professional attitude in all interactions with patients, coworkers, and other healthcare professionals.
  15. Represent the organization in a positive light and uphold its values and standards.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Medical Assistant (Cma) Or Registered Medical Assistant (Rma) Credential

  • Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Team Members

  • Strong Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Basic Clinical Procedures

  • Previous Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Float Or Multi-Specialty Environment

  • Flexibility To Work In Multiple Locations And Adapt To Changing Schedules And Assignments.
