Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Epic Application Analyst to join our team and help us continue to deliver the highest quality of care.In this role, you will utilize your expertise in the Epic application to support and enhance our electronic medical records system. You will work closely with our clinical and IT teams to ensure that our system is optimized for efficiency and effectiveness. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the delivery of healthcare in our community.To be successful in this position, you must have a strong understanding of Epic applications, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills.   1. Utilize expertise in Epic application to support and enhance our electronic medical records system.
  2. Work closely with clinical and IT teams to ensure system is optimized for efficiency and effectiveness.
  3. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Epic applications.
  4. Train and educate staff on the use of Epic applications.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to gather requirements for system upgrades and enhancements.
  6. Test and implement new features and updates to the Epic system.
  7. Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements.
  8. Develop and maintain documentation for Epic applications and processes.
  9. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to Epic applications.
  10. Assist with system maintenance and upgrades as needed.
  11. Participate in meetings and committees related to Epic applications.
  12. Communicate effectively with all levels of staff, from front-line clinicians to senior leadership.
  13. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  14. Demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional healthcare to patients and their families.
  15. Take ownership of projects and tasks and see them through to completion.
  16. Stay organized and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  17. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and enhance the use of Epic applications.
  18. Provide exceptional customer service to all stakeholders.
  19. Adhere to Yale New Haven Health System policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience Working With Epic Electronic Health Record (Ehr) System

  • Epic Certification In Relevant Modules (E.g. Ambulatory, Inpatient, Revenue Cycle)

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Both Technical And Non-Technical Stakeholders.
