- Utilize expert knowledge and experience in Epic applications to support the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of our Epic system at Yale New Haven Health System.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address the unique needs of our healthcare organization and its patients.
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues related to Epic applications, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to patient care.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to optimize the functionality and efficiency of our Epic system.
- Develop and maintain documentation and training materials for end-users to ensure proper utilization of Epic applications.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in Epic applications to continually enhance our system and processes.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for colleagues and end-users regarding Epic applications.
- Participate in project planning and implementation of updates, upgrades, and new features within the Epic system.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of staff, including technical and non-technical individuals, to provide support and training on Epic applications.
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain strict confidentiality of patient information.
Bachelor's Degree In Information Systems, Computer Science, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Epic Application Support And Troubleshooting.
Epic Certification In One Or More Applications (E.g. Ambulatory, Inpatient, Him, Etc.).
Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Workflows And Processes, With Knowledge Of Epic Best Practices.
Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work Independently And In A Team Environment.
