1. Diagnose and treat patients with endocrine disorders, including but not limited to diabetes, thyroid disorders, and hormonal imbalances.
2. Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
3. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work, imaging, and biopsies, to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
4. Develop individualized treatment plans for patients, including medications, lifestyle modifications, and referrals to other specialists when necessary.
5. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
6. Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements and research in endocrinology to provide the most current and effective treatments for patients.
