Employee Health and Safety Specialist

Yale New Haven Health System is looking for an experienced and passionate health and safety professional to join our team as an Employee Health and Safety Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of safety policies, regulations, and procedures and will be able to effectively implement and enforce them throughout the organization. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting safety inspections and investigations, providing health and safety training to employees, and developing and implementing safety policies and procedures.We are seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, as well as three to five years of experience in employee health and safety. An understanding of OSHA regulations and guidelines, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
