
ED Technician

- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in the Emergency Department.
- Assist with patient care, including taking vital signs, performing basic medical procedures (such as dressing changes and wound care), and responding to patient needs.
- Support the dedicated team of healthcare professionals in the Emergency Department.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, and coworkers.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
- Monitor patient status and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare providers.
- Assist with transporting patients within the hospital as needed.
- Stock and maintain supplies and equipment in the Emergency Department.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current on best practices and procedures.
- Display a positive and professional attitude at all times.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the healthcare team.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Is Required For This Position.
Cpr Certification: Ed Technicians Must Have Current Cpr Certification From An Accredited Organization.
Emergency Medical Technician (Emt) Certification: Emt Certification Is Preferred, But Not Required For This Position.
Previous Experience In A Healthcare Setting: Prior Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Particularly In An Emergency Department, Is Highly Desirable.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Ed Technicians Must Possess Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Their Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals In A Fast-Paced Environment.
