ED Technician

1. Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in the Emergency Department.
2. Assist with patient care, including taking vital signs, performing basic medical procedures (such as dressing changes and wound care), and responding to patient needs.
3. Support the dedicated team of healthcare professionals in the Emergency Department.
4. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
5. Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, and coworkers.
6. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
7. Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
8. Monitor patient status and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare providers.
9. Assist with transporting patients within the hospital as needed.
10. Stock and maintain supplies and equipment in the Emergency Department.
11. Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current on best practices and procedures.
12. Display a positive and professional attitude at all times.
13. Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information.
14. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
15. Perform other duties as assigned by the healthcare team.
