  1. Lead and oversee the development and implementation of strategic initiatives for clinical programs within Yale New Haven Health System.
  2. Collaborate with other department leaders to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to enhance the quality and efficiency of clinical programs.
  3. Ensure that all clinical programs are in compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines.
  4. Monitor and measure the effectiveness of clinical programs, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary changes.
  5. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, healthcare providers, and administrative staff.
  6. Provide leadership and guidance to a team of healthcare professionals, including setting performance goals, conducting evaluations, and promoting professional development.
  7. Analyze data and utilize evidence-based practices to make informed decisions and drive improvements in patient outcomes.
  8. Develop and manage budgets for clinical programs, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial goals.
  9. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in healthcare operations, and make recommendations for incorporating new processes and technologies.
  10. Represent Yale New Haven Health System at conferences, meetings, and other events to promote the organization and its clinical programs.
  11. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the clinical programs team.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Healthcare Management Or Related Field: The Clinical Program Director At Yale New Haven Health System Should Have An Advanced Degree Such As A Master's Or Doctorate In Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Or A Related Field. This Qualification Demonstrates A Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Management Principles And Ensures The Individual Is Well-Equipped To Lead Clinical Programs At A Prestigious Institution Like Yale New Haven Health System.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role: The Clinical Program Director Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Position, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting. This Experience Should Include Managing Clinical Programs, Developing And Implementing Strategic Plans, And Overseeing A Team Of Healthcare Professionals.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations And Compliance: Given The Highly Regulated Nature Of The Healthcare Industry, The Clinical Program Director At Yale New Haven Health System Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Federal, State, And Local Regulations, As Well As Accreditation Standards. This Includes Knowledge Of Hipaa, Medicare And Medicaid Policies, And Other Compliance Requirements.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Leader, The Clinical Program Director Must Be An Effective Communicator And Have The Ability To Build Strong Relationships With Various Stakeholders, Including Physicians, Staff, And Patients.
