  1. Conduct research and analysis on investigational drugs to determine their potential impact on patient care.
  2. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement strategies for the safe and effective use of investigational drugs.
  3. Monitor and track the progress of clinical trials and studies involving investigational drugs.
  4. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and guidelines related to investigational drugs and research.
  5. Evaluate and interpret clinical data to inform decision-making regarding investigational drugs.
  6. Educate and train healthcare professionals on the proper use, handling, and storage of investigational drugs.
  7. Serve as a resource and provide guidance to healthcare professionals on the latest developments and updates in the field of investigational drugs and research.
  8. Participate in drug development meetings and committees to provide clinical expertise and insights.
  9. Maintain accurate and thorough records of all investigational drugs and related activities.
  10. Continuously assess and improve processes and procedures related to the use of investigational drugs.
  11. Communicate and collaborate with pharmaceutical companies, contract research organizations, and other external partners involved in investigational drug research.
  12. Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements and trends in investigational drugs and research, and apply this knowledge to improve patient care.
  13. Adhere to ethical standards and maintain confidentiality in all aspects of investigational drug research.
  14. Train and mentor pharmacy staff and students on investigational drug research and development.
  15. Represent the organization at conferences and events related to investigational drugs and research.

Job Qualifications
  • Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) Degree From An Accredited School Of Pharmacy.

  • Residency Training In Clinical Pharmacy Or Equivalent Experience In The Field.

  • Board Certification In Pharmacotherapy Or A Related Specialty (E.g. Oncology, Infectious Diseases).

  • At Least 3 Years Of Experience Working With Investigational Drugs And Conducting Research In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting.

  • Strong Understanding Of Fda Regulations And Guidelines For Investigational Drug Use And Research, As Well As Experience With Research Protocols And Compliance.
