  1. Dispensing and managing investigational drugs for clinical trials and research studies.
  2. Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement investigational drug treatment plans.
  3. Monitoring patient response to investigational drugs and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  4. Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and guidelines for investigational drugs.
  5. Maintaining accurate and detailed records of all investigational drug usage and patient outcomes.
  6. Participating in research meetings and presenting updates on investigational drug usage and patient outcomes.
  7. Staying current on new and emerging research and treatments in the field of investigational drugs.
  8. Training and educating pharmacy staff on investigational drug protocols and procedures.
  9. Working closely with research teams to identify potential investigational drug candidates and assist with study design and implementation.
  10. Maintaining inventory and ordering of investigational drugs and supplies.
  11. Conducting quality assurance audits and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  12. Identifying opportunities for improvement in investigational drug processes and procedures and implementing changes.
  13. Adhering to all safety protocols and ensuring proper handling and storage of investigational drugs.
  14. Providing excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Education And Training: A Minimum Of A Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) Degree Is Required, As Well As Completion Of A Post-Doctoral Residency Program In Clinical Pharmacy Or Pharmaceutical Research. Additionally, A Strong Understanding Of Pharmacokinetics, Pharmacodynamics, And Drug Development Processes Is Essential.

  • Knowledge Of Investigational Drugs And Research Protocols: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Extensive Experience With Investigational Drugs And Clinical Research Protocols, Including Knowledge Of Fda Regulations, Good Clinical Practice (Gcp) Guidelines, And Institutional Review Board (Irb) Requirements.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Effective Communication Is Crucial In This Role, As The Clinical Pharmacist Investigational Drugs And Research Will Be Responsible For Collaborating With Multiple Stakeholders, Including Physicians, Researchers, And Study Participants. Strong Written And Verbal Communication Skills Are Essential For Accurately Documenting And Reporting Research Findings.

  • Attention To Detail And Strong Analytical Skills: As Part Of The Research Team, The Clinical Pharmacist Investigational Drugs And Research Will Be Responsible For Collecting, Analyzing, And Interpreting Data Related To Investigational Drugs. Attention To Detail And Strong Analytical Skills Are Necessary To Ensure Accurate And Precise Data Collection And Analysis.
