
Clinical Dietitian

- Provide expert nutrition counseling and education to patients and their families, taking into consideration their medical conditions, allergies, and dietary restrictions.
- Evaluate patients' nutritional needs and develop individualized meal plans that align with their medical treatment plans and goals.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
- Monitor and assess patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to their meal plans as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of nutrition and incorporate evidence-based practices into patient care.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute valuable insights and recommendations for patient care.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
- Educate patients and their families on the importance of proper nutrition and the role it plays in their overall health and well-being.
- Participate in community outreach and education programs to promote healthy eating habits and prevent nutrition-related illnesses.
- Adhere to all healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA and infection control protocols.
- Act as a resource and mentor for other healthcare professionals on the importance of nutrition in patient care.
- Continuously assess and improve upon the nutrition services provided, seeking ways to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Nutrition Or Dietetics From An Accredited Institution.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Healthcare Team.
Registered Dietitian (Rd) Status With The Commission On Dietetic Registration (Cdr).
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Medical Nutrition Therapy, Including Experience With Different Disease States And Nutrition Support.
