1. Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of mental health needs for pediatric patients in the emergency department.
2. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments and treatment goals.
3. Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
4. Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatments.
5. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and provide a holistic approach to treatment.
6. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to provide education and support.
