  1. Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of medical equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  2. Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in medical equipment, including but not limited to imaging systems, diagnostic equipment, and life support systems.
  3. Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and inventory.
  4. Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and effective resolution of equipment issues.
  5. Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements and best practices in biomedical engineering technology.
  6. Train and educate staff on the proper use and maintenance of medical equipment.
  7. Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans for all medical equipment.
  8. Coordinate with vendors for equipment repairs and maintenance.
  9. Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
  10. Assist in the evaluation and selection of new medical equipment.
  11. Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours equipment emergencies.
  12. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  13. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  14. Adhere to departmental policies and procedures.
  15. Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of medical equipment and make recommendations for improvements.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Biomedical Engineering Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Or Research Setting

  • Certification As A Biomedical Equipment Technician (Cbet) Or Certified Biomedical Engineering Technician (Cbet) Preferred

  • Proficiency In Troubleshooting And Repairing A Wide Range Of Medical Equipment

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, As Well As Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team.
