
Bioinformatic Scientist
Yale New Haven Health System is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Bioinformatic Scientist to join our team. The successful candidate will join a collaborative interdisciplinary group of researchers and clinicians dedicated to transforming the healthcare system through innovative use of genomics and bioinformatics. This role requires a strong background in bioinformatics, a passion for innovation and problem solving, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.We are looking for a qualified and passionate individual who is excited to apply their skills and knowledge to the development of new and innovative methods for analyzing genomic data. The ideal candidate will possess a PhD or Master's degree in bioinformatics, computer science, or a related field, along with experience in working with large-scale genomics datasets. In addition, the successful candidate will have a strong understanding of bioinformatics algorithms and software applications, and experience working in a clinical setting. This individual should also be an excellent communicator and be able to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
