  1. Conduct art therapy sessions with patients to aid in their physical, emotional, and mental well-being.

  4. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.

  11. Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for patients to engage in art therapy sessions.
  12. Maintain confidentiality and privacy of patient information at all times.
  13. Advocate for the use of art therapy as a valuable form of therapy in the healthcare field.
  14. Attend team meetings and provide input on patient progress and treatment plans.
  15. Represent the values and mission of Yale New Haven Health System in all interactions with patients and colleagues.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Art Therapy Or A Related Field, With At Least 2 Years Of Experience In Clinical Art Therapy Practice.

  • Board Certification In Art Therapy From The Art Therapy Credentials Board (Atcb).

  • Strong Clinical Skills And Experience Working With Diverse Populations, Including Children, Adolescents, Adults, And Older Adults.

  • Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Art Therapy Interventions And Ability To Develop And Implement Treatment Plans For Individuals And Groups.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With A Multidisciplinary Team And Provide Support To Patients And Their Families.
