  1. Provide compassionate and dedicated care to patients in alignment with Yale New Haven Health System's mission.
  2. Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
  3. Monitor and record patients' vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
  4. Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, ensuring infection control protocols are followed.
  5. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care.
  6. Assist healthcare professionals with various procedures and treatments.
  7. Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
  8. Recognize and report any changes in patients' conditions to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
  9. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
  10. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
  11. Attend and actively participate in team meetings and training sessions.
  12. Adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulations of Yale New Haven Health System.
  13. Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a positive attitude towards patient care.
  14. Continuously seek opportunities for professional growth and development.

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Is Required For An Aide Ii Position At Yale New Haven Health System. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Basic Level Of Education And Knowledge.

  • Previous Experience In A Healthcare Setting: Candidates With Previous Experience Working In A Healthcare Setting, Such As A Hospital Or Clinic, Will Be Preferred For An Aide Ii Position. This Experience Demonstrates The Candidate's Understanding Of Healthcare Practices And Protocols.
