They will be able to effectively communicate with a wide variety of health care professionals, as well as with patients and their families. The Advanced Practice Nurse – Palliative Care will have a strong understanding of the principles of palliative care and must be proficient in the use of evidence-based practice guidelines.Required qualifications include:• Master's degree in Nursing;• Current and valid licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut and in good standing;• National certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse, in a specialty related to palliative care;• At least one year of experience in palliative care.
