- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to system reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Design, implement, and maintain automation tools and processes to ensure efficient and reliable deployment of applications and infrastructure.
- Monitor and analyze system and application metrics to identify areas for improvement and proactively address potential issues.
- Conduct performance testing and capacity planning to ensure our systems can handle current and future demands.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in site reliability engineering.
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to production incidents in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement best practices for building and deploying reliable and scalable applications.
- Identify and address infrastructure vulnerabilities and potential security risks.
- Continuously improve system and application monitoring and alerting capabilities.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to provide updates on system performance and any potential issues.
- Mentor and train junior team members and contribute to their professional development.
- Proactively identify and propose solutions for process improvements to enhance system reliability and performance.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Computer Science, Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Site Reliability Engineer Role, Preferably In A Large-Scale Environment.
Proficiency In Scripting And Programming Languages Such As Python, Bash, Or Java.
Strong Knowledge Of Linux/Unix Systems And Experience With Cloud Computing Platforms Such As Aws, Gcp, Or Azure.
Experience With Monitoring, Alerting, And Logging Tools Such As Prometheus, Nagios, Or Splunk.
