
Production Engineer
Manage production services at vast scale and their associated infrastructure and tools. Support the operability roadmap to improve the availability, performance, scalability and efficiency of the services by implementing monitoring, automation, redundancy, capacity and business continuity planning. Design, create, maintain, and document tools and automation for handling system state and operational excellence across a complex global infrastructure. Capacity Management for all tiers across multiple applications. Implement, and maintain monitoring to provide complete transparency to application and system state, history, and trends. Create runbooks, and provide training for engineers responsible for providing 24x7 site up services for the application portfolio. Participation in on-call rotation, drive incident resolution, live troubleshooting and impact mitigation.
1-2 years experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles is preferred
Experience with Unix operating systems, including the ability to performance tune the OS, web apps, containers and related tech
Experience with container and cloud technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, AWS
Experience with building CI/CD pipelines is a plus
Experience with build & deploy technologies such as version control, Maven, Docker, Chef
