- Develop and maintain backend systems for Yahoo Mail, one of the world's most popular email services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features and improvements.
- Write clean, efficient, and scalable code that meets the technical requirements and standards of the company.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner to ensure smooth functioning of the backend systems.
- Ensure the security and reliability of the backend systems by implementing best practices and protocols.
- Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends and make recommendations for incorporating them into the company's products and services.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers on the team.
- Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to coding standards.

Extensive Experience In Backend Development: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 8-10 Years Of Experience In Developing Backend Systems, Preferably In A Large-Scale Environment.
Strong Coding Skills In Relevant Languages: Proficiency In Languages Such As Java, Python, And C++ Is Essential For This Role. The Candidate Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Data Structures, Algorithms, And Design Patterns.
Expertise In Cloud Computing: As Yahoo! Mail Operates In A Cloud Environment, The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Cloud Computing Concepts And Experience In Working With Cloud Platforms Such As Aws, Azure, Or Google Cloud.
Leadership And Project Management Skills: As A Principal Backend Engineer, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Engineers And Managing Complex Projects. Therefore, Strong Leadership And Project Management Skills Are A Must For This Role.
