Lease Accounting Manager

The Lease Accounting Manager will be part of the Global Accounting & Reporting team which helps ensure the accuracy of accounting for all Yahoo entities. This role requires the candidate to have exceptional technical skills and to be experienced in strategic and analytical thinking with a firm emphasis on attention to detail. Review lease contracts and determine appropriate accounting treatment in accordance with ASC 842. Prepare ROU journal entry data in the lease accounting system. Prepare lease schedules for internal/external reporting and auditors. Prepare other various monthly journal entries as assigned. Prepare monthly variance analysis for month-end close meetings, both P&L and balance sheet analysis. Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations. Assist in driving finance/controllership change initiatives through process improvements to gain efficiencies as needed.
