Virtual Desktop Administrator
Respond to escalated end user problems in a timely manner relating to hardware and software to provide long-term, enterprise-wide, solutions. Lead the End User Computing Team through environment changes. Be a subject matter expert on End User Computing in the industry and our primary tooling Define strategic initiatives with product ownership. Work closely with other teams in IT to provide root cause analysis and resolve systemic end user issues reaching multiple teams. Evaluate and define hardware standards Assist in the evaluation of software for enterprise use. Create and maintain software deployment packages for Windows, Mac OS, Android, and iOS. Maintain, deploy, and troubleshoot security benchmarks and standards. Responsible to patch enterprise end user devices with OS and third-party application updates. Administer virtual desktop environment including maintenance, support, patching, and documentation.
5-7 years of experience in performing desktop administration.
Ability to train others on scripting, OS administration and configuration management
Proficiency with command line interfaces
