Job Description

Are you an organized, detail-oriented individual looking for an opportunity to grow in the world of demand planning? World Wide Technology is seeking a motivated Demand Planner to join our team. In this role, the Demand Planner will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing customer demand and inventory levels to ensure the organization meets customer demand and financial targets.The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously. Additionally, the Demand Planner should have a good understanding of supply chain planning, forecasting and analytical software.If you are passionate about working in a fast-paced environment and have a strong attention to detail, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor and analyze customer demand and inventory levels to ensure the organization meets customer demand and financial targets.
  2. Create and maintain accurate forecast models to ensure inventory levels are maintained.
  3. Collaborate with sales team to develop strategies for increasing demand and inventory levels.
  4. Utilize forecasting and analytical software to develop accurate demand planning.
  5. Monitor customer orders and proactively adjust forecasts to align with customer demand.
  6. Prepare and present demand planning reports to management.
  7. Monitor supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement.
  8. Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer service levels are met.
  9. Research and analyze market trends to identify potential opportunities.
  10. Develop and implement procedures to ensure efficient demand planning processes.
