At World Wide Technology, our Benefits Specialist is a critical role in our Human Resources team. We are looking for a reliable, organized and committed individual to join us and help support our team and the organization. The ideal candidate for this position is someone with excellent attention to detail, strong customer service skills, and a commitment to providing quality benefits support for our employees. The successful candidate should have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, as well as a minimum of 3 years of experience in the benefits field. Knowledge of benefits legislation and experience developing and managing benefit plans is essential for this position. Additionally, the ideal candidate should have excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and manage benefit plans for the organization.
• Analyze benefit plans to ensure maximum effectiveness and compliance with all applicable laws.
• Research and develop new benefit plans to meet the changing needs of the organization.
• Assist employees in understanding the benefits offered by the organization.
• Respond to inquiries from employees regarding their benefits.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Prepare annual budget for benefits plans.
• Research and stay informed of industry trends and best practices.
• Maintain up-to-date records of employee benefits.
• Monitor employee enrollment and termination of benefits.
• Work with insurance providers and vendors to resolve issues.
• Develop and implement procedures for administering benefits.
• Participate in wellness programs and other initiatives to support employee health and wellbeing.
• Lead projects related to benefits and ensure successful completion.
