Global Procurement Advisor
Lead a cross functional team in managing the entire sourcing and negotiation process through formal and informal Request for Quotes (RFQs) and/or Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and ensure adherence to policies, guidelines or standards from which Suppliers are selected. Provide technical procurement expertise in partnership with legal to lead complex contract negotiations with suppliers to ensure favorable commercial terms, pricing, risk mitigation and robust ongoing service level agreements. Coordinate with the Shared Services Team and the Field Offices to troubleshoot issues with purchase requisition and purchase order creation. Maintain the GPO Internal Supplier Microsoft Teams site. Identify process, competency, and skills gaps within the GPO. Standardize processes within the GPO and work with team members to develop SOP’s for their tasks.
5-10 years of experience in a procurement setting preferred
Proven ability to leverage e-procurement systems knowledge, is a plus
ISM, CPM, or CIPs certification is preferred.
Lean-Six Sigma training or certification is preferred
