
Accountant - Derivatives Risk & Control
The Junior Accountant is responsible for month end reconciliations and providing tactical and analytical support for financial close which primarily includes Oil Liquids and Natural Gas (predominantly in the US). Prepare monthly financial closing including journal entries, analysis and financial review. Manage account level reconciliation including flux analysis and detailed explanations Coordinate, collaborate and provide guidance to product control, operations and front office. Suggests new policies or proactive changes to policies.
2-4 years in a commodity accounting role
Inventory experience is preferred
