Associate Buyer

We are looking for a highly organized and motivated individual to join our team as an Associate Buyer at Wolford. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and identifying products with the potential to be successful for the Wolford brand. You will work collaboratively with the Buyers, Merchandise Planners, Designers, and Warehouse personnel to create a product mix that meets the customers’ expectations, maximizes sales, and drives profitability. To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication and organizational skills, a strong eye for detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

1. Source and identify potential products for the Wolford brand that meet customer expectations and maximize sales and profitability.
2. Work collaboratively with Buyers, Merchandise Planners, Designers, and Warehouse personnel to create a product mix.
3. Monitor and analyze customer trends and preferences to ensure product offerings are up-to-date and relevant.
4. Develop strategies to increase sales and maximize the success of product categories.
5. Negotiate terms and pricing with vendors and suppliers.
6. Maintain and update records of product orders and inventory levels.
7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and market developments.
8. Provide timely and accurate reports for management review.
9. Collaborate with team members to ensure successful product launches.
10. Participate in trade shows and events.
