Sr CAE Engineer, Engineering

We’re looking for an experienced and talented Sr CAE Engineer to join the Engineering team at Whirlpool. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background with demonstrated expertise in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and other CAE techniques, as well as a passion for innovation and problem-solving. Responsibilities:

1. Utilize Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and other CAE techniques to develop innovative solutions to customer problems.
2. Analyze complex design and engineering data to create simulations and high-quality solutions.
3. Collaborate with engineering teams to determine the best solutions for customer needs.
4. Develop comprehensive models, simulations, and analysis methods using CAE software.
5. Monitor and analyze CFD and CAE results to identify areas for improvement.
6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of engineering best practices and industry standards.
7. Develop and document processes and procedures for CAE engineering.
8. Troubleshoot design and engineering issues as they arise.
9. Train and mentor junior engineers and other team members.
10. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
