Shipping Clerk

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join the team at Whirlpool. As a Shipping Clerk, you will be an essential part of our shipping department, responsible for ensuring that all orders are carefully processed and shipped out in a timely manner. To succeed in this role, you should have an understanding of shipping regulations, excellent problem solving skills, and an eye for detail. If you can multi-task effectively and have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, we want to hear from you!To be considered for this role, you should have at least a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience in a shipping or logistics role. You should also possess strong organizational and communication skills, be comfortable working with computers, and be able to lift up to 25 pounds. If you have a valid driver's license and are familiar with shipping and distribution software, this would be an asset.

Responsibilities:

• Process orders and ensure that they are shipped in a timely manner
• Pack and label orders for shipment
• Track and trace orders using shipping and distribution software
• Communicate shipping details and any changes to customers
• Maintain accurate records of shipments
• Follow shipping regulations and guidelines
• Monitor inventory levels and order new supplies as needed
• Load and unload trucks and other delivery vehicles
• Ensure that shipments are handled correctly and safely
• Resolve any customer service issues related to shipments
• Liaise with transportation companies to ensure efficient delivery
