Senior IT Manager (Compute/Cloud Services)

We are looking for a Senior IT Manager with an eye for detail and a passion for technology to lead our Compute/Cloud Services team at Whirlpool. In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of cloud management and compute resource planning, including strategy, architecture, engineering, operations, and security. You will be a visible leader within the IT organization and will be expected to effectively communicate and collaborate with other IT teams and stakeholders both internally and externally.To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with experience leading a team, a strong customer-centric mindset, a high level of technical knowledge, and excellent problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and at least five years of relevant experience in IT and/or cloud-related roles. Responsibilities:

1. Lead the Compute/Cloud Services team at Whirlpool, including strategy, architecture, engineering, operations, and security.
2. Effectively communicate and collaborate with other IT teams and stakeholders both internally and externally.
3. Maintain a customer-centric mindset when providing services and developing solutions.
4. Remain up-to-date with the latest cloud computing architectures, technologies, and processes.
5. Develop effective cloud solutions using public cloud providers such as AWS or Azure.
6. Train and mentor team members in cloud-related technologies and processes.
7. Monitor and optimize cloud services performance.
8. Ensure compliance with all applicable security and privacy regulations.
9. Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures.
10. Monitor IT budgets and track expenses.
