Job Description

At Whirlpool, we are searching for a Lean Manufacturing Engineer who is capable of leading the optimization of our manufacturing processes. As a Lean Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for driving efficiencies to minimize waste and maximize productivity. To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in Lean Manufacturing principles and be an excellent communicator.The ideal candidate for this position should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field. Additionally, you should have at least 5 years of professional experience in Lean Manufacturing, with a proven track record of successful projects. Furthermore, you should have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.Are you an experienced Lean Manufacturing Engineer, passionate about driving efficiencies and achieving results? Responsibilities:

  1. Implement and maintain Lean Manufacturing principles to drive efficiency and minimize waste.
  2. Plan and execute optimization projects and analyze the results to ensure successful outcomes.
  3. Develop and implement process improvement plans.
  4. Lead cross-functional teams in the implementation of Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
  5. Identify and analyze production processes to determine opportunities for improvement.
  6. Develop and maintain metrics and reports to monitor process performance.
  7. Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders.
  8. Train and mentor staff to ensure compliance with Lean Manufacturing principles.
  9. Remain abreast of industry trends and best practices in Lean Manufacturing.
