Job Description

At Whirlpool, we are looking for an experienced Lean Manufacturing Engineer to join our growing team. As a Lean Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives, process improvement, and lean manufacturing techniques. To be successful in this role, you should be a technically skilled problem-solver with a strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles. You should also be an excellent communicator who is able to build strong relationships with all stakeholders. If you're up for the challenge, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce cost, and improve customer satisfaction.
  2. Analyze and refine existing production processes to identify areas for improvement.
  3. Implement lean manufacturing principles and techniques, such as Kaizen, Kanban, 5S, and SMED.
  4. Utilize tools such as Value Stream Mapping and Six Sigma to identify and eliminate waste in the production process.
  5. Monitor and report on production performance metrics and provide feedback to stakeholders.
  6. Train and mentor team members on lean practices and techniques.
  7. Establish and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders.
  8. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in lean manufacturing and process improvement.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering

  • Knowledge Of Lean Manufacturing Principles And Techniques

  • Experience In Leading Kaizen Events

  • Proven Track Record Of Implementing Process Improvements

  • Ability To Identify And Analyze Root Causes Of Problems

  • Working Knowledge Of Six Sigma And Statistical Process Control

  • Excellent Problem Solving And Communication Skills

  • Proficiency In Microsoft Office Suite.
