  1. Oversee and manage all international procurement operations for Whirlpool's Procurement team at the International Purchase Office.
  2. Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective and timely acquisition of materials and supplies.
  3. Monitor and analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure procurement processes align with business objectives.
  5. Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms for Whirlpool.
  6. Manage relationships with existing and potential suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and quality of goods and services.
  7. Maintain accurate records and documentation of procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier information.
  8. Train and mentor junior procurement staff to ensure a high level of proficiency and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in procurement to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
  10. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to procurement activities.
  11. Handle any issues or disputes with suppliers in a timely and professional manner to minimize disruptions to the supply chain.
  12. Prepare reports and presentations on procurement performance for senior management, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
  13. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
  14. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the Procurement team, promoting a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous learning.
  15. Represent Whirlpool in a professional manner when interacting with suppliers, customers, and other external stakeholders.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Procurement, Preferably In An International Purchasing Office

  • Strong Knowledge Of International Trade Regulations And Customs Procedures

  • Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With Proficiency In English And At Least One Other Language

  • Experience Managing A Team And Working Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams To Achieve Procurement Goals And Objectives.
