Deputy Manager, Cost Research

- Conduct in-depth cost analysis to identify areas for cost reduction and improvement
- Develop and implement cost-saving strategies and initiatives
- Monitor and track cost performance to ensure targets are met
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement new processes
- Analyze market trends and competitor pricing to inform cost decisions
- Communicate cost research findings and recommendations to senior management
- Lead and mentor a team of cost research analysts
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable pricing
- Stay updated on industry developments and best practices in cost management
- Monitor and ensure compliance with company cost control policies and procedures
- Prepare and present cost reports to senior management and stakeholders
- Identify and resolve potential cost issues or discrepancies
- Drive a culture of cost-consciousness and continuous improvement within the organization.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills
Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or Related Field
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Cost Research, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or Consumer Goods Industry
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Abilities, With The Ability To Collaborate Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams
Proficiency In Microsoft Excel And Other Financial Software Programs, With A Strong Understanding Of Cost Accounting Principles And Techniques
