- Receive and inspect incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and quality of products.
- Organize and maintain inventory in an efficient and logical manner.
- Use inventory management software and tools to track and update inventory levels.
- Communicate with other team members to coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Prepare and pack orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and prompt delivery.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Assist with loading and unloading of trucks and other transportation vehicles.
- Monitor and report any inventory discrepancies or issues to management.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal teams and external clients.
- Continuously evaluate and suggest improvements to warehouse processes and procedures.
- Perform regular inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy and identify any potential issues.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Complete paperwork and documentation accurately and on time.
- Collaborate with other warehouse clerks and team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Warehouse Clerk At Westrock Should Have At Least A High School Diploma Or Ged Equivalent To Demonstrate Basic Education And Literacy Skills.
Previous Warehouse Experience: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Warehouse Or Shipping/Receiving Environment, With Knowledge Of Inventory Control And Forklift Operation.
Attention To Detail: The Ability To Accurately Track And Record Inventory Levels And Shipments Is Crucial For A Warehouse Clerk. Candidates Should Have Strong Organizational Skills And Attention To Detail To Ensure Inventory Accuracy.
Basic Computer Skills: As A Warehouse Clerk, You Will Be Required To Use Basic Computer Programs For Data Entry And Inventory Management. Proficiency In Microsoft Office And Inventory Management Software Is Preferred.
Physical Ability: This Role May Require Standing, Bending, And Lifting Up To 50 Pounds Regularly, So Candidates Should Have Physical Stamina And The Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment. Forklift Certification And Experience Operating Warehouse Equipment Is A Plus.
