- Oversee and manage the maintenance operations within the facility, including scheduling and coordinating maintenance tasks, assigning work orders, and ensuring timely completion of all maintenance projects.
- Take responsibility for the upkeep and maintenance of all equipment and machinery in the facility, including troubleshooting issues, performing repairs, and coordinating with outside vendors for specialized repairs.
- Develop and implement maintenance plans and strategies to optimize production efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Train and supervise maintenance staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of spare parts and tools, ensuring availability for maintenance needs.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, promoting a safe working environment for all employees.
- Continuously evaluate and improve maintenance processes and procedures to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute maintenance projects and ensure minimal disruptions to production.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance tasks, including maintenance logs, equipment performance, and maintenance expenses.
- Stay updated on industry advancements and new technologies, and implement them to improve maintenance processes and equipment performance.
Extensive Experience In Maintenance Management: A Qualified Supervisor At Westrock Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Managing Maintenance Operations, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or Production Environment.
Strong Technical Knowledge: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Mechanical, Electrical, And Hydraulic Systems, As Well As Experience With Troubleshooting And Repairing Equipment.
Leadership Skills: As A Supervisor, The Candidate Should Possess The Ability To Lead And Motivate A Team, Provide Direction And Guidance, And Ensure A Safe And Efficient Working Environment.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Abilities: The Candidate Should Have Strong Communication Skills To Effectively Interact With Team Members, Other Departments, And Upper Management. They Should Also Have The Ability To Build Relationships And Resolve Conflicts Effectively.
Proven Track Record Of Meeting Targets And Deadlines: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Demonstrated History Of Meeting And Exceeding Production Targets And Completing Maintenance Tasks Within Set Timelines. This Requires Strong Organizational And Time-Management Skills.
