Sr. Manager, Data Refinery

We are looking for a talented and experienced Sr. Manager, Data Refinery to join WestRock's team. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering and experience managing data refinery and optimization projects. They will possess strong organizational, technical, and communication skills to effectively lead and motivate teams to success. A passion for data-driven decision making and problem solving is essential to this role. The Sr. Manager, Data Refinery will be responsible for developing, refining, and optimizing our existing data infrastructure, as well as leveraging new technologies and approaches. This person will oversee the data refinery process, from data extraction and analysis, to development of models and visualization for data-driven insights.Required Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics or related field• 5+ years’ experience in data engineering, data warehouse and/or data science• Proficiency in data modeling/ETL tools and techniques, as well as programming languages such as Python, R, SQL• Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
