Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the procurement and inventory of raw materials used in our manufacturing processes. You will play a vital role in ensuring the timely delivery and quality of materials to support our production operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in materials management and possess excellent organizational and communication skills.   1. Oversee the procurement process for raw materials, including sourcing, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships.
  2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records for all raw materials.
  3. Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce waste.
  4. Collaborate with production and planning teams to forecast material needs and ensure timely delivery.
  5. Monitor and track material usage to identify potential shortages or excess inventory.
  6. Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy and reconcile any discrepancies.
  7. Manage and resolve any issues or delays with material deliveries.
  8. Ensure all materials meet quality standards and work with vendors to address any quality issues.
  9. Develop and maintain reports on material usage, inventory levels, and cost savings.
  10. Implement and maintain a system for proper storage and organization of materials.
  11. Train and supervise materials handling and inventory control staff.
  12. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in materials management practices.
  13. Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  14. Adhere to all safety and compliance regulations related to materials management.
  15. Act as a point of contact for any materials-related inquiries or concerns.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Materials Management, Inventory Control, Or Procurement.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Materials Planning And Forecasting Techniques, As Well As Inventory Management Systems.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And External Suppliers.

  • Proven Track Record Of Driving Cost Savings And Process Improvements Within A Materials Management Function.
