  1. Develop and implement strategic purchasing plans for raw materials that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  2. Lead and manage a team of procurement professionals to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of raw materials.
  3. Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to achieve the best value for the company.
  4. Monitor market trends and changes in the availability and pricing of raw materials to proactively identify potential risks and opportunities.
  5. Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as production, quality control, and finance, to ensure the timely delivery of raw materials to meet production demands.
  6. Conduct regular analysis of purchasing data to identify areas for cost savings and process improvements.
  7. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to procurement.
  8. Manage the procurement budget and track expenses to ensure cost control and efficiency.
  9. Collaborate with suppliers to develop and implement sustainable and environmentally responsible sourcing practices.
  10. Stay updated on industry developments and innovations to continuously improve and optimize the company's procurement processes.
  11. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on procurement activities, performance, and potential risks.
  12. Mentor and develop team members to foster a high-performing and results-driven culture within the procurement department.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Raw Material Procurement: A Senior Manager In This Role Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Procuring Raw Materials For Manufacturing Processes, Preferably In The Packaging Industry. This Experience Should Cover Sourcing, Negotiating Contracts, And Managing Suppliers.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: As A Senior Manager, This Role Will Require Leading A Team Of Procurement Professionals. Therefore, The Ideal Candidate Should Have Proven Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Motivate And Develop Team Members, Delegate Responsibilities, And Make Difficult Decisions.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Supply Chain Management: The Candidate Should Possess A Thorough Understanding Of Supply Chain Management Principles And Practices. This Includes Expertise In Forecasting, Inventory Management, And Risk Management To Ensure A Stable And Cost-Effective Supply Of Raw Materials.

  • Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills: This Role Will Involve Working With Various Stakeholders, Including Suppliers, Internal Teams, And Senior Management. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Strong Communication And Negotiation Skills To Build And Maintain Relationships, Resolve Conflicts, And Secure Favorable Terms And Prices From Suppliers.

  • Strategic Thinking And Problem-Solving Abilities: A Senior Manager In This Role Should Be Able To Think Strategically And Make Data-Driven Decisions To Optimize The Procurement Process And Drive Cost Savings. They Should Also Have Strong Problem-Solving Skills To Address Any Issues That May Arise In The Procurement Process And Develop Solutions To Mitigate Risks.
