Job Description

Are you a skilled electrician with a passion for maintaining industrial equipment?   • Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and equipment in the sawmill
  • Troubleshoot and repair any electrical issues that arise
  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all electrical equipment in the sawmill
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repairs performed
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to address any issues that require multiple skill sets
  • Stay up-to-date on industry standards and best practices for electrical maintenance in a sawmill setting
  • Communicate effectively with management and production teams to prioritize and complete maintenance tasks
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment
  • Continuously work to improve and optimize electrical systems and processes in the sawmill
  • Train and mentor other maintenance team members on electrical maintenance procedures and safety practices.

Job Qualifications

  • Electrical Knowledge And Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Electrical Systems And Equipment Used In Sawmill Operations. This Includes Knowledge Of Electrical Codes, Wiring Diagrams, And Troubleshooting Techniques.

  • Industrial Maintenance Experience: A Sawmill Maintenance Electrician Should Have Experience Working In An Industrial Maintenance Setting, Preferably In A Sawmill Or Similar Manufacturing Facility. This Includes Experience With Preventative Maintenance, Equipment Repair, And Troubleshooting.

  • Communication And Teamwork Skills: As A Member Of The Maintenance Team, The Sawmill Maintenance Electrician Will Need To Effectively Communicate With Other Team Members And Work Collaboratively To Troubleshoot And Resolve Issues.
