- Safely and efficiently operate a non-CDL vehicle to transport materials to designated locations.
- Adhere to all traffic and safety laws while operating the vehicle.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in proper working condition.
- Plan and map out the most efficient routes to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Load and unload materials onto the vehicle in a safe and organized manner.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including date, time, and location.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to coordinate delivery schedules.
- Handle and report any issues or incidents that occur during transportation, such as accidents, delays, or vehicle malfunctions.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, both inside and out.
- Follow company policies and procedures at all times.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Adhere to all company and industry regulations and guidelines.
- Maintain a strong work ethic and positive attitude while representing the company on the road.
- Continuously strive to improve and optimize transportation processes and procedures.
- Keep up-to-date on industry news and trends to ensure the best practices are being followed.
- Attend training and development sessions as required by the company.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
Valid Driver's License: As A Non-Cdl Driver At Westrock, It Is Essential To Have A Valid Driver's License In The State In Which You Will Be Driving.
Clean Driving Record: A Clean Driving Record With No Major Violations Or Accidents Is Typically Required For This Position To Ensure The Safety Of The Driver And Others On The Road.
Familiarity With Dot Regulations: Non-Cdl Drivers At Westrock Must Be Knowledgeable About Department Of Transportation (Dot) Regulations, Such As Hours Of Service And Vehicle Maintenance Requirements.
Physical Fitness: This Job May Require Physical Demands Such As Loading And Unloading Cargo, So Candidates Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Lift Heavy Objects.
