  1. Conduct routine and preventative maintenance on all production equipment to ensure optimal functionality and minimize downtime.
  2. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues on production equipment in a timely and efficient manner.
  3. Perform diagnostic tests and utilize technical manuals to identify and resolve equipment malfunctions.
  4. Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement maintenance plans and procedures.
  5. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
  6. Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency and quality.
  7. Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  8. Coordinate with outside vendors for equipment repairs and maintenance as needed.
  9. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to report on equipment status and any issues that arise.
  10. Stay current on advancements in production technology and machinery to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
  11. Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
  12. Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  13. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  14. Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisors.

Job Qualifications

  • Technical Skills And Knowledge: A Multi-Craft Technician At Westrock Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Mechanical, Electrical, And Industrial Systems. They Should Be Able To Troubleshoot And Repair Various Equipment, Such As Conveyors, Packaging Machines, And Boilers.

  • Experience In A Manufacturing Environment: Candidates Should Have Previous Experience Working In A Manufacturing Or Production Facility. This Will Give Them A Better Understanding Of The Equipment And Processes Used At Westrock.

  • Safety Consciousness: As A Multi-Craft Technician, Safety Is Of Utmost Importance. Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Safety Protocols And Procedures, And The Ability To Identify And Mitigate Potential Hazards.

  • Attention To Detail: Multi-Craft Technicians Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail, As They Will Be Responsible For Performing Preventative Maintenance And Identifying Potential Issues Before They Become Major Problems.

  • Ability To Work Independently: While Multi-Craft Technicians May Work As Part Of A Team, They Should Also Be Able To Work Independently And Make Decisions On Their Own. This Includes Prioritizing Tasks And Managing Time Efficiently To Complete Projects Within A Given Timeframe.
