- Assist the machine operator in setting up and preparing machines for production runs.
- Monitor machines during production to ensure smooth operation and identify any issues.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines, such as cleaning and lubricating parts.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished products onto and from machines.
- Operate various machines and equipment as needed.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine malfunctions.
- Communicate effectively with team members and machine operators.
- Keep accurate records of production and machine maintenance activities.
- Assist in training new machine operator assistants as needed.
- Continuously look for ways to improve machine efficiency and productivity.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
- Attend training sessions and workshops to improve skills and knowledge.
- Assist in inventory management and ordering of supplies.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure production goals are met.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Basic Education Is Required For This Position To Ensure The Ability To Follow Instructions And Understand Safety Protocols.
Prior Manufacturing Experience: Previous Experience In A Manufacturing Environment, Specifically As A Machine Operator Assistant, Is Preferred.
Mechanical Aptitude: The Ability To Understand And Troubleshoot Basic Mechanical Issues Is Important For This Role.
Physical Stamina: This Position Requires Standing For Long Periods Of Time And The Ability To Lift And Move Heavy Materials.
Attention To Detail: Machine Operator Assistants Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Ensure The Quality And Accuracy Of The Production Process.
